    Linux 大点兵

    在上个月,代表蓝色LINUX的FEDORA10发布了。
    在上上个月,代表黄色LINUX的UBUNTU8.10发布了。
    在未来的一个月,代表绿色LINUX的OPENSUSE11.1将要发布了。

    当这些系统发布的时候LDCN或者LINUXTOY都争先发布新闻,务求为LINUX的喜爱者带来最新消息。

    对于这3个系统,我只能说FEDORA不是一般地难用,UBUNTU简单得不想用,OPENSUSE是一个比较中庸的选择。

    3个系统对应的软件更新:
    FEDORA:YUM (纯手动操作,RPM源的相关lib都要自己装)
    UBUNTU:APT(纯自动操作,DEB包自动关联,一个APT-GET横行UBUNTU)
    OPENSUSE:YAST(半自动操作,RPM源手动输入,YAST给你自动关联,repo就是老大)
    用过LINUX的人应该知道我在说什么=。=

    结果3个系统中我最喜欢的还是OPENSUSE。

    不能说FEDORA难用就是垃圾,最多说它是REDHAT公司放出来的服务器测试版,本来就是为了做服务器用的,生搬硬套拉来做桌面系统肯定有点难堪。像我这种新手肯定是不太适合的,毕竟代码都记不住几个。蓝色LINUX永远都是一个美好的梦。

    想用会UBUNTU也不是一件容易的事,因为桌面系统太难抉择了, GNOME,KDE,XFCE,太多选择变得没有办法下手,而且重点是每个都不漂亮。

    OPENSUSE对我的好处就是漂亮,GNOME在绿色衬托是格外清爽,而且速度可以说是飞速(开了Compiz Fusion)。KDE也是比一般地强,因为对我的VAIO兼容性最好,除了特效,原因是那NVIDIA的闭源驱动,可以把人气个半死,3D效果可以说把ATI比下去,可惜的就是2D做得连INTEL的板载显卡都不如,真可是一种资源浪费。

    目前来说LINUX的测试就是这3个系统,其他的系统比如说GENTOO,还有其他的LINUX都没有深入地研究。LINUXTOY传说FEDORA10做得很值得尝试,有时间和精力也会去研究一下,不过沉迷在MAC中的我估计很久都没这个心情了。

    最后送给对LINUX感兴趣的朋友,最新的版本并不代表最稳定,最舒适,最新的版本只代表了开发团队的新尝试,能不能找到合适的系统还是得靠自己慢慢尝试。
